2018 Share the Love Raises Millions for Charity! Each year Subaru of America hosts its Share the Love event that sees the automaker donate $250 to four national charities or a pre-approved hometown charity designated by the purchaser or lessee, up to $15,000,000 in total. In the past, we have matched the Share the Love incentive with at extra $50 for each sold or leased vehicle, up to a total of $7,500. With your help, in the past we were able to raise an amazing $46,001 for our hometown charity– The Food Pantry of Waukesha County.
In total, Subaru of America has donated more than $145.7 million to over 1,170 national and local charity partners throughout the lifetime of the Share the Love event. For the 2018 Share the Love event, the automaker donated nearly $24 million to national and local charities. Subaru retailers who matched contributions helped raise an additional $3.5 million for charity, reaching a total of $27.5 million raised during the 2018 Share the Love event. As a result, hometown charities received an impressive $17.4 million, while national partners such as the ASPCA, Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America and the National Park Foundation received $10.1 million.
